hello people.
someone's not here. i'm just waiting for the person to come back. =]
well, tragedy rocked the dragon boating world. 5 Singaporean dragon boaters lost their lives in a Cambodian dragon boat race just last week. it's something saddening to hear, especially when you're in that sport. then there are questions running through your mind. how did the incident happen? why didn't they wait for the officials to tow them back? why were they without their life jackets? was it human error or did mother nature just strike at them? and then after all these questions, you think of who to blame for this incident. whatever it is, it's over, it's a lesson not only dragon boaters should learn, but something all who does water sports, competitive or recreational. since we can have the discipline to wear life vests or jackets here, let's apply the same discipline to everywhere we go. nobody wants to see the same thing happen. let's apply water safety in our lives!
yesterday's service was about the tongue and how we should tame it because it can turn out to be a weapon of destruction. yes, indeed it can. as Pastor Moh Ying went on to talk about it, i realised that a lot of what she said had to do with me. my tongue has destroyed friendships and many other things. it's time i learn to tame my tongue.
i want to drive by next semester. i want i want i want it BADLY!
so the Chicago Bulls are 2-10 down this season. they are not performing AT ALL. Boston Celtics on the other hand are performing like they used to in the past, leading the league with a 11-1 record. will the Bulls start to rise any sooner? i can only hope.
i have no idea what to do now.
