today's Singapore's 40th birthday..
i feel so happy..
i love Singapore..
ALOT!

-[ Trip to Marina South ]-well..
to celebrate National Day..
my Mum, Bro and i went to Marina South..
it's quite suprising as my Bro actually went with us!
he was like driving..
and we were at Chinatown..
looking for a place to park..
FYI..
only cars with labels are allowed to drive into Marina South..
let's continue..
so my Mum said park at Chinatown Point..
cheap parking fee..
=X
so my Bro made a turn..
and we couldn't find the entry to the carpark..
-.-
so we went down and decided to park the car at..
a carpark at SGH..
hey..
it's free parking..
why not?
xD
so we went down..
and my Bro miraculously missed the turn!
so we drove on and my Bro made a U-Turn..
and we arrived at the carpark..
left our car there and off we go to the MRT station..
before we went down..
i saw a notice..
said something about some "SPECIAL" bus service to Marina South..
so we waited for the bus instead of taking the MRT..
then blah blah blah..
we arrived at MARINA SOUTH!
and the first thing we heard was..
the sound of car engines..
music to my ears..
there was a drag race there..
there was a red Lancer Evo we saw which "FLEW" from the starting to the finishing point..
WHOOOOOSH!
man it was fast!
then after..
we made our way to see some drifting..
lots of cars..
guess what did we see?
JACKIE CHANS LANCER EVO IX!!!
man it was beautiful..

we checked out car stuff and blah blah blah..
then my Bro went off to catch a movie with his friend..
so it was left with my mum and i..
we "explored" the whole carnival..
saw this really cute stuffed toy..
his name was Lionel..
a merlion..
man..
CUTE!
well anyways..
walked around..
got some coins from a Singapore Mint booth..
then walked to the Sundial at on end of Marina South..
we then heard the sound of canons..
so i ran pass Shears bridge..
saw the people with the canons..
they were doing the 21 rounds of Presidential Gun Salute..
cool..
it was a first for me..
and after that i took some photos of the scenery there..
then waited for the fireworks..
oh yes..
i also took some photos of the aerial displays..
then it was nightfall..
sometime after 8pm..
the fireworks came about..
everyone took their cameras and started taking pictures..
what a wonderful sight..
the fireworks were like..
above our heads?
just imagine it..

then after everything..
Mum and i went home!
