wow. honesty is definitely the best policy. getting $80 for it? yes it's worth it. here's how that huge red packet landed in my hands. my dad found this mobile in his taxi this morning. the phone had the keypad lock on, so my dad couldn't do anything. when he came back, he passed the phone to me and told me he didn't know how to unlock it. well then, i just guessed the simplest numbers, 12345. it worked! kind of pointless having such a code isn't it? coming back to the topic, my dad asked me whether to return the phone or not. i told him to but he said my mum wants it. so i went to ask my mum and she said if we wanted to return, then do it. so we called the owner's home and got her address. my brother came into the room and said, "why want to return? keep la!" that's him. so on the way to my aunt's place for reunion dinner, my dad drove to the mobile owner's home, a 3-storey bungalow in Bukit Timah. yes, it was huge. i passed the mobile to it's owner and she thanked my dad and i. she then passed me a red packet. so i thanked her and we left. in the car, i asked my parents and my brother to guess how much was in it. my mum answered, "$10 only la." so i opened it, and first thing i saw was this blue note. i was shocked! took it out and there was $80 in it! and since my mum guessed there was $10 in it, i gave her, my dad and my brother $10 each. yes, i kept the largest note. how wonderful is that?!
